Synthetic Biology and Molecular Computing Lab

We are interested in better understanding and exploring the design space of molecular systems to achieve desired dynamical behavior in living cells. 

Our research topics include:

• • Synthetic circuits in living cells and cell-free systems
• • Programming bacterial cells
• • Smart probiotics
• • DNA/RNA molecular circuits

Our new paper was selected as a cover article in Nature Chemical Biology! 

Our lab is recruiting postdoctoral scholars, MSc/PhD students, and research assistants with interests in the broad area of biotechnology with particular emphasis on synthetic biology, smart probiotics, and nucleic acid engineering.
